Jim Wagner's Own Experiences and Application Updates. Since leaving the Costa Mesa Police Department as a full-time police officer in 1998 (when the first part of this video was taped) Jim Wagner has gone through the law enforcement hiring process several more times: as a Reserve Police Officer, Reserve Sheriff Deputy, and as a full-time United States Federal Air Marshal agent. The last part of this video was taped in 2005. Not included in this video is when, in 2006, Jim Wagner went through the process yet again and was sworn in as a Military Police Reserve soldier. So, he knows the process you may be going through inside and out. Note: This is the final video of Becoming A Cop series.
