GRAND MASTER FRED MILLER'S LIFE AND LEGACY.
HONORING OF A GREAT GRAND MASTER WHO SHARED THE MARTIAL ARTS (NIPPON GOJU RYU) WITH ONE AND ALL, ALWAYS STRIVING FOR IMPROVEMENT. UPON GRADUATING FROM H.S ATTENDED & GRADUATED FROM BX. COMM. COLLEGE, AND JOHN JAY COLLEGE OF CRIM. JUSTICE. AT THE TIME CALLED TO THE SIDE OF THE LORD WAS ATTENDING UNIVERSITY IN PA. AND ABOUT TO COMPLETE MASTER DEGREE IN LAW. HE BECAME A LIC. MINISTER IN 2002 IN THE BRONX, NY.
GM Miller was born in 1950, in The Bronx, NY. He was intro. to the Martial Arts (Goju) by his first Teacher and brother Charles Miller, he then trained under greats like: G.GM Peter Urban, G.GM Aaron Banks, GM Thomas Boddie, GM Raymond Duran, and G. GM Henry Cho. Insatiably, received training from G. GM Moses Powell (Sanuces Ju Jitsu), G. GM Antonio Pereira ( Miyama Ryu Ju Jitsu), and Fu Jao Pai Kung Fu. Notable dual Grand Champion in Kata & Kumite in consecutive tournaments through 1970's and 80"s; Fred Hamilton's Battle of the Zodiac Grand Champ (Kata/ Kumite) including The Pentathlon and Decathlon Greatest Martial Arts of the World title. A Great Teacher who taught not only kicks and punches, but to become successful and productive members of society, produced many successful Men and Women, in addition to many Black Belts who continue his legacy of teaching the True Essence of Guju Ryu Karate.
